POSITION SUMMARY:

Keep building in clean and orderly condition. Perform cleaning duties such as, running floor scrubber throughout the plant, emptying trash throughout the plant, mopping and vacuuming floors, cleaning break rooms and conference rooms when needed, stocking restrooms. Duties may include washing walls and glass, cleaning drain traps in bathrooms, servicing toilets, and notifying management of any major repairs needed throughout the facility.

This is a part-time 3rd shift position.  4 hours per day Sunday-Thursday.  Hours will be set between 10pm & 4am.

KEY RESULT AREAS:

RESPONSIBILITIES:

                     Service, clean and supply restrooms

                     Gather and empty trash

                     Clean building floors by sweeping, mopping, scrubbing or vacuuming.

                     Follow procedures for the use of chemical cleaners and power equipment to prevent damage to floors and fixtures

                     Mix water and detergents or acids in containers to prepare cleaning solutions, according to specifications.

                     Notify managers concerning the need for major repairs or additions to building operating systems.

                     Requisition supplies or equipment needed for cleaning duties.

                     Clean windows, glass partitions or mirrors, using soapy water or other cleaners, sponges or squeegees.

                     Clean doors and entryways and spot clean walls.

                     Dust horizontal surfaces including: window ledges, counters, file cabinets, picture frames, desks and tables.

                     Clean and polish furniture fixtures.

                     Clean break room tables, counters, microwaves and refrigerators.

                     Load, run and unload dishwasher

                     Clean, disinfect and straighten coffee areas.

                     Clean and polish sinks and drinking fountains.

                     Wipe down chairs.

                     Dust high hard to reach areas including vents, exit signs, light fixtures and corners

                     Dust low hard to reach areas including chair legs, table legs, and printer stand bases.

REQUIRED EDUCATION:

         High School Diploma or GED

REQUIRED EXPERIENCE:

          6 months to 1 year minimum

         Cleaning large facilities
