Their world-class engineering department works closely with many customers to design, test and develop proprietary equipment to fit specific needs and to customize existing products in designated Engineering/R&D labs. SCOPE AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

The National Sales Manager is a key leader within the organization, responsible for the setting direction for the Sales department and driving toward the Company's organic growth objectives.

Specific Responsibilities:

  • Provide day-to-day leadership for the Sales department - Responsible setting and managing to goals and objectives for the multiple functions of the Sales department Outside Sales, Inside Sales, Customer Service, and Order Entry.
  • Organic growth initiatives Work with the VP of Sales & Marketing to develop and execute sales promotions and initiatives to help the company deliver growth objectives across all market segments.
  • Leadership role in integrating acquisitions Lead the Sales department in assuming and integrating sales activities.
  • Process Optimization and Cost Reduction - Identify and deliver initiatives to improve efficiency and effectiveness of the Sales processes. Foster communication with cross functional partners and build a team environment.
  • Lead in a participatory style that motivates people to high levels of productivity, quality, accountability and success.

EXPERIENCE REQUIRED:

The fully qualified candidate will possess a degree with an advanced management education. He or she will have a minimum of 10 years of experience in Sales roles with progressing levels of responsibility. The National Sales Manager will have a proven ability to lead an organization, and a demonstrated ability to implement plans and processes that deliver organic growth.

EDUCATION:

  • A bachelor's degree is required and an advanced degree, such as an MBA, is preferred.

  • The Company will provide a competitive compensation package consisting of a base salary commensurate with experience, an incentive program tied to Company and individual goal attainment.
