Set up and operate any job including a wide range of unusual operations on an assigned type of CNC machines'specifically CNC lathes, using proper techniques such as tool selection, and speeds and feeds to efficiently operate the assigned job. Must possess a knowledge of blueprint reading, the use of precision measuring devices in order to produce parts to required tolerances, plan sequence of operations, sharpen tools (such as forming tools, drills boring tools, cut-off tools). This must be done with minimum instruction and supervision. Assists in the instruction of Set-up Trainees, Operators, and Operator Trainees. Diagnose, troubleshoot and make adjustments. May be assigned to remove and/or replace worn or defective parts. Must have the fundamental tools to safely and effectively perform the job.

THIS IS A 3rd SHIFT POSITION.  Sunday- Thursday 10:00pm-6:00am

         Set-up, operate and control process on all product produced on lathing machines

         Responsible for executing production plan according to manufacturing schedule and work instructions

         Responsible for controlling quality of product according to Inspection Plan and maintaining quality records

         Maintains and performs daily preventative machine maintenance and supplies all machine related needs

         Troubleshoot and solve minor to semi-complex problems and issues. Conduct minor root cause analysis

         Maintain a clean and safe work environment at all times.






         High School Diploma/GED

         Formal CNC training with certificate and/or previous experience



         2-3 years previous experience with CNC vertical and multi-axis machines.



         Ability to read and understand blue prints, work instructions, SOP's and all other technical information in English.

         Knowledge and ability of using proper precision measuring devices

         Demonstrated set-up and operating of CNC lathes

         Can effectively problem solve and troubleshoot

         High attention to detail and ability to handle multiple priorities.



          Possess a hands-on style with strong mechanical aptitude.
