Assists with tasks associated with the shipment, receiving, inventory, order pick/pack, and storage of materials, supplies, and equipment in and out of the warehouse.   



Control Devices, LLC ("Control Devices" or "CD") is a leading designer and manufacturer of high quality flow control valves, condensate removal traps, related components and accessories serving the compressed air, pressure washer, vehicle systems, fire protection, specialty gas, and the industrial, agricultural and food service float valve markets.  CD prides itself in the ability to design, innovate and manufacture flow control valves for custom applications and offers a line of standard products that has grown over the years.  CD is based in Saint Louis, MO and its products are sold on a global basis to O.E.M's, Distributors and End Users.  


Control Devices is a privately owned company with a very seasoned management team focused on organic sales growth with existing products and new revenue growth through acquisitions.






         Ensures picking, receiving, and shipping accuracy.

         Loads and unload trucks as needed'verifying items and processing paperwork.

         Assists in physical inventory, discrepancy resolution and performs cycle counting as required.

         Posts weights and shipping charges and prepare goods for final shipment.

         Ensures shipment is labeled and packaged according to Company specifications.

         Operates forklift or other power driven equipment to load or move materials.  Ability to become certified and perform the proper forklift techniques. 

         Cross-train to drive the Company box truck; must have a Class E Driver License or have the ability to get that license

         Follow approved procedures in receiving, material storage, shipping preparation, order picking, and order staging.

         Maintains a safe and clean work environment by keeping shelves, workstation and shipping supply area neat and orderly; comply with procedures, rules and regulations.

         Ability to work closely with internal and external customers to solve problems and answer questions.

         Other duties as assigned






         A high school diploma/GED



         Minimum of 1-3 years experience working in shipping and receiving environment.

         A solid understanding of shipping and receiving operations and associated processes.

         Ability to load and unload trucks

         Ability to accurately pick orders, pack parts, create labels, count inventory, and transfer parts from one location to another.

         Ability to do cycle counts



         Must be computer literate to work in email, locate parts, create labels, and make transfers for parts

         Strong attention to detail and ability to prioritize duties; highly organized

         Ability to enter data quickly and accurately

         Ability to follow verbal and written instructions

         Knowledge of shipping based computer systems

         Knowledge of inventory and cycle count procedures

         Flexible scheduling'willing to work overtime as needed

         Ability to lift 35lbs on a regular basis




         Previous work experience in a manufacturing environment.

         Proficiency in Macola.

         Possess Class E Driver's License and cross-train as box truck driver

         Minimum of 1-3 years processing international invoices

         Understand Import/Export documentation and experience with domestic and international shipping
